What is Pi?

Pi is a platform for hosting fitness and wellness events. Pi makes it easy for organizers to host events, receive support ($) from their supporters, and sell event tickets.

Instead of juggling numerous social media channels, event booking platforms, and group chats, organizers simply create an event on Pi and invite their community and supporters to join. Pi takes care of the rest! We help you seamlessly handle RSVPs, collect payments, and manage payouts.

Who uses Pi?

Anyone who hosts events for their community. Fitness and wellness organizers and influencers for activities like running, football, soccer, pickleball, basketball, hiking, biking, walking, yoga, pilates, or any group activity use Pi.

We support organizers who want to grow their community or turn their fitness and wellness passions into businesses. We also support many nonprofits that host events and collect donations for their organizations.

What kind of events can I host on Pi?

We support any fitness and wellness events with 10 to 1000 attendees. You can host one-time or recurring events for your friends or communities. For example, some organizers host their weekly running events on Pi.

Others organize official or special events such as a 5K race with other running groups and sponsors, a charity soccer game, or birthday celebration run with friends. Just create an event, invite people, and go!

Is Pi free?

Yes, it’s free to host an event. We don’t charge a fee to use Pi.

For free events, organizers can enable “support” in the event invitation to receive support ($) from their supporters or fundraise money for a cause or charity.
For paid events, organizers can sell tickets for medals, participation t-shirts, bibs, event meals, snacks, etc.

We only charge a one-time 4% + $0.30 transaction fee per processed payment. This fee covers Stripe’s payment processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per credit card transaction and our low 1.1% platform service fee for server and infrastructure costs. Organizers keep 95% of the earnings.

Organizers, influencers, participants, and sponsors love our platform because we put more money in their hands and have the lowest fees available. This empowers you to create more events and grow your community or business.

How can I make money or raise funds on Pi?

Organizers collect supports from supporters who want to support their work and community. We make it easy for your supporters to express gratitude in a meaningful way by paying you for supporting their well-being through events.
Organizers can sell tickets to paid events on Pi. (In app payments coming soon)

Here’s how simple it is:

Link your bank account through Stripe to accept funds you receive. It only takes 2 minutes.
Toggle and enable the “support” button when you create an event or add your event ticket price.
Add your support link to your social media bio and start receiving support.

Note: For ticket sales, please add your payments link in the invitation. We will notify you soon when in-app ticket payments are available.

How can I raise funds for causes or celebrations?

You can create events and races to raise funds for special causes or personal celebrations like birthdays or anniversary’s. Simply create the event, invite co-hosts, sponsors, participants, and enable “support” in the invitation to collect money from supporters. Keep the proceeds or donate them to the rightful charity after the event.

Selling Merch on Pi

You can sell t-shirts, hats, or any merch by adding a link to your website or social media when you create events. Events are an excellent opportunity to display and sell your branded merchandise.

How do I receive my funds?

To receive funds, simply link your personal or organizational bank account. It takes 2 minutes to set up through Stripe. We partnered with Stripe to offer secure payments.

Once you are ready to collect funds, you will go through a simple onboarding process to add your bank details. Payouts are processed every Friday and will reach your bank account by the following Wednesday. We provide a Stripe Express Dashboard for you to track all your funds.

How can I advertise my event?

You can advertise your event by sharing the “Event Link” we generate for you on social media, email, or any group chats you are part of.
You can share your beautiful event flyer we auto-generate for you when you create an event.
You can co-host an event and share the event link with your sponsors or partners to invite more people.
We advertise vetted organizers and events. Please reach out to us, and we can promote your event :)

Note: In-app SMS and email invites will be available soon, so you can easily invite and promote your events.

Organizing events or races requires considerable time, money, and resources from organizers. Our goal is to build technology that simplifies this process and empowers communities to be sustainable.

Is Pi safe and secure?

We take your privacy and data seriously.

Security and Infrastructure: We use secure and encrypted infrastructure by Amazon (AWS), Cloudflare, and Stripe to power our platform.
Payments: We partnered with Stripe to offer secure and reliable payments. We do not store your payments data on our servers.

Our team routinely maintains and updates our infrastructure to ensure that your data and privacy are protected.

Why Do Participants RSVP with Phone Numbers?

We ask participants to RSVP with their name and phone number to facilitate seamless communication between hosts and participants.

We also use phone numbers to send automatic text reminders and updates to participants for future events and races. Participants can opt out of these reminders if they choose.

We don’t spam or sell any user data. Your data is yours.
